New Recordings In 2024

Change! Pop is the collaborative effort of Aaron McEvoy, Steve Ventrello, Robinson Kuntz and Graham Terry. After taking time apart to work on our individual endeavors, the time has come to return to the studio and start laying down our next batch of recordings that will be released under the album name Future Creatures. In the early days, we would record songs and then figure out how to perform them live. Now we do the reverse, a process which we prefer as the songs become much more soulful as we perform them live multiple times. We are just starting to rehearse the newer songs from our recent live performances and will start recording in the upcoming months.


Wait For Love EP

Wait For Love is our newest single which we hope to have released in the late Spring. What started out as a experimental piece between Rob and Aaron has turned into a fully realized pop song that has wowed audiences at our recent shows. In addition to this new single, we are cleaning the closet and remastering a batch of older lesser known electronic collaborations as part of this new EP.

She's A Ghost Music Video
Filmed in Namibia, these beautiful shots seemed to fit perfectly with this haunting track. She's A Ghost was written during a transition period of the band. This batch of recordings that were released under the name Dark Side Of The Love Letter were the first recordings to feature Robinson Kuntz, now the second longest tenured Change! Pop member (after your ancient narrator)

New Music by Change! Pop
New Music is now available by Change! Pop. Growing up in Delaware, the highlight of my childhood was going to the local record stores to see what I could discover. While looking through cassettes at Bert's Records (in Wilmington), I saw a hand drawn cassette spine that said "New Music". These words spoke to me as a very brazen and bold statement for any band to make. Sadly, when I pulled the cassette out of the holder to look closer, I realized that it was an empty cassette shell created by the record store to signify that the alternative music section had begun. Still, the seed was planted in my brain as I pondered what "New Music" should actually sound like. Fast forward to the present, this new EP was written in studio by the full band. Each musician bringing different influences to the mix, to blend something that we think is fresh and new. No studio tricks here, this is very much a genuine representation of what it sounds like to sit in on our studio practices. We are currently performing songs from both our New Music and Strange Year EPs during live performances.



Strange Year EP Our new Strange Year EP is available on Bandcamp and on all popular music streaming sites. It was written and recorded during quarantine, with band members self recording their parts at home. The record is Frankenstein'd together, with layers stitched on by each musician using sometimes primitive recording equipment. In times of isolation, it was our way of holding our community and friendships together. We hope you enjoy!
